During the 2018-2019 school year our students will be building on their mechanical skills as well as their soft skills and ability to interact in a cooperative manner with their peers.The construction classes will be working on several  small personal projects and some school related teacher projects[small shelves, benches etc.]. Our Skills USA students will be working on Sultan Smart Steps a variation of a small Shaker style bench that enables  students in elementary grades to reach the Smart Boards and touch them more completely. The students will progress from learning how to read a tape measure to squaring up a concrete form to framing a small structure, and some basic finishing techniques.
